more miami

As much complaining as I did about Miami I don't think its fair for me to say some parts were not awesome. We went to the wynwood art district and it's one of those places that I could see myself living. Artsy cool little place.

orange you glad

I obviously HAD to go with the corny and cheesy title!

One of my friends, Monika, is a wonderful photographer and I am always inspired by her. I was fortunate enough to go to an orange grove with her to do our photography thing. We got to hang out, catch up and take some fun pics. Well, she got to take some fun pics. My camera battery died right after we got there!! Amateur mistake! I was kind of bummed out but it was nice to enjoy the fresh air and the orange scent without trying to capture it all on camera.

I learned two lessons that day. Most important, always keep a charged battery. Second, I need to be more in the moment and without a camera in my face when I am out and about. I tend to get too focused on getting the perfect shot (although I am still bummed out about not getting some of the pictures that I could have). I guess the few that I took will have to do. And maybe Chris and Matthew will like to join me another day. We can bring out the rednecks in us and go on the "BIGGEST MONSTER TRUCK". Come join us. The more the merrier!
